Things you can do with a webcam

Here are a few of the different activities and uses for web cameras.

Security and monitoring
Setting your camera up in your home or business to keep an eye on things. Be it checking in on your kids,or an elderly relative, to watching the employees at work, and some other applications. You can do this with a Network camera or a USB camera. Although you'll need extra broadcasting software such as EyeSpyFX Webcam with a USB cam.

Keeping in touch
One of the main uses for a webcam is for keeping in touch with friends and family. There are alot of instant messaging programs and VoIP apps out there that now support webcams (e.g. Skype or MSN Messenger).
This gives you a face to face conversation adding something a phone call lacks. As well as being cheaper than the telephone, especially international calls.

Video Blogging
Using your webcam to record videos to be put up on the web.
Sharing your opinions, or putting up online content just for the fun of it.
